This is the first of the round-card decks. Created by Vicki Noble and Karen Vogel in the late 1970's. This deck changes the Hanged Man card to the Hanged One and the Hermit to the Crone. In the Minor Arcana, the Court cards are changed to Daughter, Son, Priestess, and Shaman. Using a round-card deck does not permit reversed cards in the reading - since there is no way to know if the card was drawn reversed (upside-down) |
